Saturday 5th October, Joanna Alexandré + open-mike, at The Moon, on Zoom!

.
Perth Poetry Club has wonderful poet Joanna Alexandré, plus open-mike, this Saturday 5th October, 2pm-4pm, at The Moon Café & on Zoom.

Joanna Alexandré bio in her words:

From a young age, I found solace in poetry when words failed me in conversations. Poetry became my outlet—a therapeutic way to process my emotions and experiences, as well as those of others. Through my writing, I aim to convey the unspoken thoughts and feelings that often linger beneath the surface, capturing the raw, intimate truths of life's journey.

My poetry is deeply personal, a reflection of the unique yet universal struggles and joys that shape us all. Each poem is a window into my experiences, yet I hope readers find their own stories within my words—a reminder that none of us walk alone, even when the road feels isolated.

In a world that can be harsh and unforgiving, I believe poetry can soften the blows, offering comfort and a sense of shared humanity. Through my poetry, I invite you to explore the complexities of life, love, loss, and resilience. Because:
The world is round, but its edges are sharp.

The Moon Café has new roof sheeting plus insulation, and a new ceiling. Come in and see it.
