Perth Poetry Club has wonderful poet Fran Graham plus open-mike this Saturday 17th February, 2pm-4pm, at The Moon Café and on Zoom.
Fran Graham has been published in journals and anthologies including Westerly and Best Australian Poems 2012. She developed her craft in Tasmania where she spent thirty years raising four children before moving to Western Australia in 2004. She spent 2005 teaching English in China at a senior secondary school south of Shanghai.
She had her first collection of poetry, On a Hook Behind the Door, published by Ginninderra Press in 2011. Her second collection, A Gentle Outward Breath, was published by WA Poets Publishing in 2023.
She holds an Arts Degree from Griffith University and a Masters from Monash. Her four children have been her life's work and her best work and they, along with her six grandchildren, are her biggest fans.
