Saturday 26th of November, Naniso Tswai!

This Saturday (26th November 2016) our feature poet is Naniso Tswai.

Naniso Tswai is a Berlin-based author, spoken word artist and academic whose work is strongly embedded in broader issues of justice, peace and identity.  Over the past five years he has shifted his focus from academic writing to fictional writing, this has come in the form of short stories and novels.  He is a Spoken Word performer, an artistic outlet which allows him to express himself with a different voice.  He is the founder and current director of Berlin Spoken Word (BSW).

Berlin Spoken Word is a place to highlight writing that is made to be read out loud. A friendly and familiar atmosphere for poetry, prose, song and verse – similar to Perth Poetry Club.

So we are delighted to have Naniso Tswai this Saturday afternoon 26th November, 2pm – 4pm, at The Moon Café 323 William Street Northbridge.

Open-mike as always…

In coming weeks we have the following features:

3-Dec-16                  Rikki Livermore (UK) & Toby Marks

10-Dec-16                  Virginia O'Keefe
