This Saturday, it’s Sue Clennell and Sandie Walker as our features, 7th October 2017 at Perth Poetry Club.
Sue Clennell’s poems have been published in The Weekend Australian, Westerly, Poetry NZ, Famous Reporter, Unusual Work, FourW, and in various anthologies including ‘Best Australian Poems’ and ‘Australian Love Poems.’ She has twice been a runner up in The Josephine Ulrick Poetry Prize, and has had three plays performed in Sydney & Canberra’s ‘Short & Sweet Festival.’ Her poetry CD, ‘The Van Gogh Cafe’ is for sale here for just $5.
Sandie Walker is either a lazy or a changing poet, an experimental painter and a creative macro-photographer who, over summer, transformed into a surprisingly passionate protester. You may have caught Sandie reading her (often) confessional-style poetry at Fairbridge Festival, Voicebox, Poetry d’Amour, the Dan, here at the Moon, or somewhere else altogether. Sandie's work has been published in Creatrix, Creatrix Anthology, Creative Connections, Uneven Floor, Recoil and other miscellaneous places.
Join us to hear two engaging performers Sue Clennell and Sandie Walker this Saturday afternoon 2pm-4pm at the Moon Café, 323 William Street Northbridge.
