Saturday 25th of February, Scott-Patrick Mitchell, Sanna Peden and Matthew Jamieson launch their collection "Informalities"

Our three fabulous features this Saturday 25th February 2017 at Perth Poetry Club are Scott-Patrick Mitchell, Sanna Peden & Matthew Jamieson.  They are launching their collection, Informalities.

Scott-Patrick Mitchell (SPM) appears in Out Of The Box: Contemporary Australian Gay & Lesbian Poets, Turnrow Anthology of Contemporary Australian Poetry, Contemporary Australian Poetry and The Fremantle Press Anthology of Western Australian Poetry.  In 2017, SPM’s debut collection, Vade Mecum, will be released by Hawkline Press.  More than all this, SPM is a menace to society.  But he won't steal your car, just your heart.

Sanna Peden is a lapsed academic and recovering writer.  She has written extensively on cinema, memory and nostalgia; her poetry has appeared in Cordite Poetry Review, Creatrix and Visible Ink. She wishes to acknowledge these sonnets were written on Wadjuk Noongar land.

Matthew Jamieson has been a life-long scribbler and more recently a poet.  WA born and bred, he has performed at Perth Poetry Club, Voicebox, Perth Slam, in Melbourne, and to anyone who will listen.  His poetry is by turns satirical, philosophical, colloquial, and sometimes even entertaining.  He still hopes to write "the great Australian poem."

Please join us at The Moon Café 323 William Street Northbridge this Saturday 2pm-4pm for the launch of Informalities with SPM, Sanna Peden & Matthew Jamieson.  Book-signings at half-time and end-of-gig.
