Julian Matthews is a Pushcart-nominated poet, and the offspring of mixed minorities from Malaysia.  He is published in the American Journal of Poetry, Beltway Poetry Quarterly, Lothlorien Poetry Journal, Live Encounters poetry magazine and New Verse News online site, among others.

   Deanne Leber is a Perth poet, who has published two collections of poetry: Book of Days and Constellations.

Her work persists in the smallest of spaces and reaches beyond the page – or screen.  She probes gaps with rhymes, sometimes stars, sometimes minutes, sometimes lines.

Jaya Penelope has been a part of Perth’s poetry and performance community for over twenty years. She has hosted poetry readings, performed at local and interstate festivals, self-published three zines and a cd (all vintage items now) and been published in various literary journals.

Join wonderful poets Miriam Wei Wei Lo (Who Comes Calling?) and Amy Lin (Infinite Ends) for an in-conversation, together with the poets reading poetry from their recently launched poetry books.

Perth Poetry Club holds Mega Open-mike events quarterly as an opportunity for every open-miker to be a feature with 5 minutes (maximum) of performance time.

Best to prepare your performance.  Try something different, experimental.  Edit and refresh your poems.  Hone your performance skills.
