Perth Poetry Club has wonderful poet, Noodle Earth String + open-mike
this Saturday 7th June, 2pm-4pm, at The Moon Café, 323 William Street Northbridge, and on ZOOM.
Noodle Earth String has been a performance poet on the Australian poetry stage for 40+ years.
His performances are legendary across Australia and New Zealand.
Originally from Claremont 6010 he has lived, performed and sold his work ; especially on his own personal medium of recycled Tetra Brik packaging across Australasia where he has supported such Mega Acts as Paul Kelly and the infamous Doug Anthony All Stars. He has also hitchhiked from Perth to Darwin with a wheelie bin as well as many other zany exploits and features along the way. Indeed Noodle has been an anchor for performance poetry throughout the 80s, 90s and beyond within the Australian poetry scene and has kept the flag flying on many a still year.
Currently residing full time in Darwin where he's recognised as a street poet and performance artist, Noodles latest venture is to entertain the masses by showing how water works better than toilet paper and it is his aim to change the world's toilet habits one bum at a time.
