Perth Poetry Club has wonderful poet Isabella Jacqueline reading from her poetry collection Shattered and open mike
this Saturday 26th April, 2pm-4pm, at The Moon Café, 323 William Street Northbridge, and on ZOOM.
Isabella Jacqueline is a Perth-born writer and film director, best known for telling the “other side” of the story. Her newly released debut poetry memoir, Shattered, details her survival of sexual assault, grooming, death, heartbreak, abuse and the isolating aftermath… It has been well received by survivors as a means of articulating what they have struggled to voice themselves and as a tool to bridge the gap in people’s life experiences. Isabella uses poetry to reflect, process, mourn and — ultimately — heal.
Please join us to celebrate poetry,
this Saturday, 26th April 2025, 2pm to 4pm Perth Aus WST (GMT+8hrs).
