Perth Poetry Club has wonderful poets Daniel Oxenburgh & Jayna Otto (USA) + open-mike, this Saturday 7th December, 2pm-4pm at The Moon Café and on Zoom.
Daniel Oxenburgh is a multi-talented WA poet. His poetry has been illustrated by Alexander Hayes and published as a book “Quicksilver” with an exhibition at Gomboc Gallery in 2002. He has written poetry to accompany two photography exhibitions by Angus Skene “Formations Creatures Land and Sea” in 2010 and “Kimberley Expressions” in 2011. You can also read his poetry in The Australian Writers’ Journal and Uneven Floor. In 2015 he was a state finalist in the W.A heats of the Australian Poetry Slam, and in 2015 published his second book of poetry “Wrong Way Up” which was illustrated by Giles Graham.

Jayna comes from Wisconsin in the USA, just north of Chicago. She grew up listening to hip hop music while reading Shakespeare, and now finds great influence in Eastern spirituality. Writing poetry gives Jayna the opportunity to heal and grow, as well as connect with others. Her poetry is an expression of love…
