Perth Poetry Club has wonderful poet Eddy Burger, visiting from Melbourne, plus open-mike this Saturday 20th July, 2pm-4pm at The Moon Café and on ZOOM.
Eddy Burger is a Melbourne-based writer of experimental performance poetry, fiction, plays, zines and work that combines art with text. His writing has appeared in local and overseas journals, and on spoken word CDs. He has featured at many literary events and is a former winner of the Melbourne Fringe Festival's Spoken Word Award.
Eddy's style and subjects vary but he is frequently concerned with subverting notions of normality, portraying the collision of modern-day concerns, and manipulating language.
