Tim Edwards is a Perth poet who has had his work published in a number of Australian literary journals. He has been writing for as long as he can remember but probably only started to become seriously "obsessed" while completing post grad units in Creative Writing at Curtin University in the early 1990's. It was there he had the very good fortune to meet and listen to writers like Elizabeth Jolley and Andrew Burke. - to name a few.
Much of Tim's work focusses on the theme of nostalgia and the potency of memory. The importance of place and landscape also invariably feature in his poetry, the seeds for which he suspects were planted in the late 1970s, when he spent several years working in the Pilbara. His poems have been published in a variety of Australian journals including Westerly, Island, Quadrant, HEAT, Indigo, and Eureka Street as well as the Weekend Australian newspaper.
