This Saturday 24th April 2pm-4pm we have the wonderful poet Casey Basire + open-mike on Zoom only.
Casey Basire ‘The funny type of poetry guy, Casey writes about things that make him smile. Featured in a handful of poet events other the years, his poem when you dream was recently included in the first Neon Readings Poets – VOL 1 zine.
A few years back, Casey dropped an Auslan poem onto Perth Poetry Club, and he has not turned back, incorporating sign language into a chunk of his performance. A graduate of Curtin Uni, he has taken bits and pieces he has scraped up along the way from his time studying performance, theatre, creative writing and experimental poetry.
Casey’s writing contains themes that are wholesome, at times strange, a little unsettling, but always very ‘Casey’.
Please join us to celebrate poetry this Saturday afternoon 2pm - 4pm. The venue is ZOOM only.
