Saturday 9th of September, Ben Riddle!

Our feature poet is Ben Riddle, this Saturday 9th September 2017 at Perth Poetry Club.

Ben Riddle is a contemporary poet based in Perth, Western Australia.  Ben Riddle won the 2014 Fred Simpson Prize for English Verse, and is currently Co-Director of the Said Poets Society.

Ben has been published in Australia, Europe and the United States; notably in Trove Journal, The Travelling Poet and the Stormcloud Poets Anthology. He has done backflips off buildings, stages and every serious commitment he’s ever made in his life.

Saturday 12th of August, 2017 Perth Poetry Festival: Youthful Transgressions!

Our feature is Youthful Trangressions, this Saturday 12th August 2017 at Perth Poetry Club.

Youthful Transgressions is an open mic and feature poet event showcasing some of the best and brightest young poets that this city has to offer.  This event will be similar to Perth Poetry Club, but with a twist: all open mic and feature poets must be between the ages of 15 and 20 years old.

Saturday 5th of August, Tineke Van der Eecken!

Our feature poet is Tineke Van der Eecken, this Saturday 5th August 2017 at Perth Poetry Club.

Tineke Van der Eecken has had a passion for poetry and literature from young age, nurtured through her mother, aunties and maternal grandmother. She studied Latin and ancient Greek at school in Belgium but did not pursue this further until she joined Horst Kornberger's The Writers' Passage' in 2015 and The Delphi Project in 2016.

On Sunday 13th August 2-4pm at Mattie Furphy House, Clare Copse, Swanbourne. Entry is free and light refreshments will be available.
