This Saturday, it’s Afeif I& Shadi Ismail with Vivienne Glance as our features, 23rd June 2018 at Perth Poetry Club.

Afeif Ismail is an award-winning playwright and Poet. He is internationally published, with his work has been translated into German and Swedish.  Afeif has published many poetry works in English; Bet of the Argil, Mum! This World Lies to Us and Orphaned Birds. ‘The African Magician’, ‘Son of the Nile’ and 3Seeds as playscripts. Also seven books in his first language.

Saturday 2nd June - Andrew R Levett !

This Saturday, it’s Andrew R Levett as our feature, 2nd June 2018 at Perth Poetry Club.

A. R. Levett is an award-winning, emerging WA author and poet with a Bachelor of Writing and first-class Bachelor of Communications (Honours).  Andrew’s work spans myriad forms and genres.  He has appeared at Perth Poetry Club as an open-miker, now will be a feature. 

Saturday 26th May - Robert Wood!

This Saturday, it’s Robert Wood as our feature, 26th May 2018 at Perth Poetry Club.

Robert Wood grew up in Western Australia and has been a kitchen hand, gardener, waiter, usher, trade unionist, cultural liaison officer and teacher.

His poetry focuses on the natural world and his experiences in the suburbs, city and country.
