Perth Poetry Club has wonderful poet Mike Pedrana & the launch of his book Black Sheep Poems plus open-mike this Saturday 10th August, 2pm-4pm at The Moon Café and on ZOOM.
At 12, Mike Pedrana wanted to be a poet. Thank God that he did.
Black Sheep Poems is a wonderful book of poetry. It is gripping. It does not hold back on detailing the hardness and harshness that life brings but also shows how love, of family, of poetry, can provide comfort and journey.
