Saturday 6 June, Van Su Yun and Kate Black-Regan + open-mike! VIA ZOOM

This Saturday 6th June we have two fine poets Van Su Yun (Singapore) and Kate Black-Regan (USA) + open-mike VIA ZOOM.

We apologise we are not at the Moon Café but we will be via ZOOM.

The Zoom session is on Saturday, 6th June 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Van Su Yun is a performing enthusiast who has been experimenting with poetry since she was 12 years old, winning an intra-school e-poetry competition roughly 3 years later. She mysteriously vanished from the poetry world for many years after, though people have reported recent sightings of her crawling out of her hole at poetry events.

It has also been reported that poetry prompts have had a small degree of success as bait to lure her out.

A majority of her poems in her more prolific days were in free verse, though her style has since become more varied, to better keep up with her vanity.

Kate Black-Regan is a performance artist, vocalist, poet, and counsellor engaged in expressive art therapies (graduate of FECAT 2016-2017, Bengaluru, India). At the root of her work is a deep trust in the power of transformative growth through creative expression. She is passionate about the relationship between the creative process and healing, both personally and collectively, and explores the potential to reclaim, re-story, and re-envision roles and narratives with a dynamic feminist lens.

She collaborates with a wide range of theatre companies and bands in the Philadelphia (US) region, has led workshops on performance/experimental making, and composed a one-woman show that travels with her on the road.
