Poetry celebrating and deploring war plus open-mike.
We apologise we are not at the Moon Café but we will be via ZOOM.
The Zoom session is on Saturday, 25th April 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
Anzacs Go To War & Other Conflicts – Love, Loss and Loathing is a look at the poetry of war through an Anzac setting with linkages to Ataturk, Hitler and the poetry of Henry Lawson, Banjo Patterson, McCrae, Spike Milligan, Binyon, Leon Trainor, Auden & others – a look at Love, Loss and Loathing.
Perth Poetry Club did something similar to this in November 2014 for City of Bayswater, commemorating the approach to the then centenary of the Gallipoli landing/invasion.
We also will have regular open-mike on any theme.
