This Saturday 16th November we have the wonderful poets Pat Johnson + Colin Young + Alex Biddle & Scott-Patrick Mitchell duet at Perth Poetry Club.
Pat Johnson is interested in things (art, social justice, literature, blues, theatre). Reads books (mysteries, verse novels, classics). Writes other things (ghost stories, poetry, fiction). Ex-President Fellowship of Australian Writers WA. Enjoys the ebb and flow of life and the people she loves
Colin Young … Take 2 cups of idealism, blend with 1 cup of frustration and pour in a dollop of realism at odd intervals. Add 3 slices of insomnia. Sprinkle with shredded memories. Bake at global warming temperature while covering mouth so as not to scream. The result will be Colin Young, who can be garnished with a measure of fresh or jaded audience, depending on your mood at the time. He has been published in print form for the first time in Poetry d’Amour 2019 and Recoil 10. He hopes to continue fighting the urge to satirise and writing poetry.
(Alex) Biddle & Scott-Patrick Mitchell are performing a duet. Past bios state that… Alex biddle does poetry sometimes and it’s alright i guess. Scott-Patrick Mitchell (SPM) is a menace to society. But he won't steal your car, just your heart.
