Saturday 20th October, Virginia O'Keefe + Bill Jenkins!

This Saturday 20th October 2018 we have two wonderful poets, Virginia O’Keefe + Bill Jenkins at Perth Poetry Club.

Virginia O’Keefe divides her year between WA and the high country of Victoria which informs her work.  She is an ex teacher and has an insatiable curiosity about what makes things tick.  She won this year's Creative Connections Prize and gained second place with Creatrix.  A big thankyou!  She has written poetry and prose forever.

Bill Jenkins, who spent his childhood in a small fishing village in the north of Scotland, believes that the every day life of human beings is fascinating and he continues as a poetic explorer to search for gems in his own experience, the experience of others, and increasingly in the natural world in the hills around Perth, Western Australia, where he has lived for the past 40 years.  Bill will be reading from ‘We Carry the Cave’, his first collection of poetry.  He is most grateful to all those who have enabled this dream to be realised.

Join us at Perth Poetry Club this Saturday afternoon 2pm - 4pm at the Moon Café, 323 William Street Northbridge to hear Virginia O’Keefe + Bill Jenkins.
