This Saturday, it’s Angelina Bong (from Malaysia) as our feature, 19th May 2018 at Perth Poetry Club.
Angelina Bong is a poet and visual artist with a background in Fashion. She represented Malaysia at the 3rd Delphic Games, South Korea in the Lingual Art Category where she recited her poem. Since then, she has read and performed in Malaysia, South Africa, Botswana, UK, Australia, India and Egypt with some poems translated into Malayalam, Japanese, Arabic, Korean, French and Malay. She is published online and in print including several poetry festival anthologies.
Angelina was a Perth Poetry Festival poet in 2015. As of recent, she has just completed a writing and art residency in South Korea with a solo Art & Poetry exhibition in March and April 2018.
