This Saturday, it’s Alexis Dubus (UK) and Katie Bennett as our features on 3rd February 2018 at Perth Poetry Club.
Alexis Dubus is back in town doing the Fringe in his show “Alexis Dubus Verses The World” Feb 17th - 25th. Alexis, UK comedian, poet and man returns to Perth Poetry Club with more poetry, lyrical tales from the road, and iffy wordplay. He has performed at numerous festivals, and is past winner of the Chortle Award 2015 (Best Sketch/Character/Improv) and Fringe World Award 2013 (Best Comedy).
Katie Bennett is a young poet with a heart for everything the Perth arts community has to offer. She has performed a few times at different events and is a member of the team at Spoken Word Perth. In 2017 Katie lost a couple hundred poems to a cracked iPhone at high altitude but is well on her way to recovery and hopes you all enjoy some of the remnants and the new stuff she has to read to you.
